Eine Jubiläumsschrift, die auch ein Nachruf sein könnte. Seit zehn Jahren bin ich auf Insta aktiv. In dieser Zeit habe ich dort hochgerechnet wohl um die 3-5000 Bilder hochgeladen (allein 644 Beiträge in den letzten 27 Monaten).

Anfang 2024 wurde mein Account gehackt und ich musste ganz neu anfangen. Ich habe mit dem Format gespielt, Architekturphotographen aufgespürt und die Trauerbekundungen für Martin Parr dort gesammelt. Aber vor allem habe ich, dem Grundsatz folgend, dass alles, was mir über den Weg läuft, potenziell aufgenommen werden kann, Bilder im Dreierset gepostet.

Das Medium hat sich über die Jahre unmerklich, aber dramatisch gewandelt, ist immer schneller geworden und wird kaum mehr so konsumiert wie ich mir das vorstelle; durch einen Besuch auf dem Profil des befreundeten Photographen zum Betrachten seiner Bilder. Die Bilder sind mit einer dicken Schicht Video und KI-Müll zugedeckt, aber man kommt noch dran, wenn man das Medium entgegen den vorgegebenen Konsumempfehlungen nutzt. Sollte das mal nicht mehr so sein, dann bin ich weg.

Zur Feier dieses Jubiläums gibt es hier im Folgenden mal ein hoffentlich funktionierendes Insta-Feeling:
