Schreib doch so ein „Die zehn besten XY“-Artikel, heißt eines der angeblichen Erfolgsrezepte für Blogger. Auf der einer Seite hab ich immer gesagt „Nee, sowas mach ich nicht.“, auf der andere Seite hab ich dann vorsichtshalber doch angefangen eine Sammlung von Blogs anzulegen, über die ich gestolpert bin oder die Andere unter dem Titel „Die zehn besten Photoblogs „ gelistet hatten.
Nun was macht man da, entweder man macht es besser als die Anderen oder man lässt es ganz bleiben. Das war dann auch der Zwischenstand meiner Überlegungen. Aber irgendwie will ich das Thema trotzdem behandeln. Also fangen wir mal an bei den Anderen die das besser machen. Solchen die in den `Top Ten´ verdächtig oft auftauchen:
`Kwerfeldein´ hat neben dem eigenen Blog auch eine super Übersicht über aktuelle Beiträge in der photoaffinen Blogosphäre. In dieser `Photosphäre´ werden auch über hundert Blogs aus diesem Themengebiet gelistet, wo man sich nach Lust und Laune umschauen kann. Sehr schön gemacht sowohl von den Photos als auch von den Texten her finde ich den blog `speysight´. Gelistet ist hier auch ein zweiter Top-Ten-blog, nämlich der `Stilpirat´. Die Gedanken werden hier als podcast angeboten. Da muss ich auch nochmal näher drauf eingehen. Podcasts scheinen ja nicht das geeignete Medium zu sein, um über Photographie zu reden. Trotzdem gibt es da einiges Interessantes.
Feinschmecker sollten auf jeden Fall bei `fotofeinkost´ vorbeischauen. Der Reisetipp Japan dürfte sich zwar im Augenblick als undurchführbar herausstellen aber man kann ja mal träumen. Apropos Japan. Schaut euch mal die MM-Shows von Haralds Japan Reise an. Ist fast so schön wie selber hinfahren.
Von meinen Kontakten bei `wordpress´, die ich regelmäßig verfolge fällt mir neben vielen sehr persönliche Blogs in denen Photos mit Texten begleitet oder Texte mit Photos bebildert werden, der Photoblog des Sprengelmuseums ein. Da lese ich die Beiträge sehr gerne, da Sie meist anregende Themen an der Schnittstelle Photographie/Kunst behandeln. Ganz was anders ist der Physikblog von Joachim Schlichting, der zwar nicht direkt über Photographie schreibt aber viele Themen behandelt (Spiegelungen, Lichtphänomene, Natur etc.) die für den Photographen interessant sind. Auch die Lichbildwerkerin ist eine Adresse, die es sich lohnt ab und zu anzusteuern.
An englischsprachigen blogs verfolge ich seit neuestem den Serialist – da geht es nicht nur, aber auch um Photographie. Vor allem die Posts über Vivian Maier und ihre Rolleiflex haben es mir angetan.
Wer interessante Photographinnen und Photographen kennen lernen möchte ist auf Farbwolke richtig . Hier wird ca. einmal im Monat ein Photograph*in der Woche vorgestellt
Noch kaum eingegangen bin ich bisher auf die englischsprachigen blogs. Bei den `Fstoppers´ geht es im aktuellen Beitrag natürlich um Corona und seine Auswirkungen auf die Photowelt .
Auch auf `petapixel´ geht es neuerdings nur noch um Covid 19. Ansonsten ein guter Mix aus verschiedensten Photothemen.
Auf `Conscientious´ wird aufgerufen Photobuch-Läden zu unterstützen. Die sind natürlich auch, wie alle Kunstschaffenden und Kunstvermittler, von dem aktuellen `shutdown´ betroffen.
Ein Spammer vor dem Herren ist DavidduChemin aber er macht gute Bilder und einige der Gedanken in seinem blog sind , auch wenn Sie oft danach riechen ein Köder für seine workshops zu sein, einigermaßen lesenswert. Ebenso ein Hans-Dampf-in –allen Gassen-der–Welt ist `Stuck in customs´dessen Blog Einen um die ganze Welt mitnimmt.
Unbekanntere Photographen kann man auf `photoargus´ unter der sparte `Photographers´ kennen lernen. Ebenso bei `121clicks´ unter `photo stories´.
Sehr fashy aber auch spannend und sehr aufgeräumt finde ich `Aestetica´. Nicht dass ich mich auf solchen Seiten rumtreiben würde aber wem´s gefällt und wer nicht vor Gucci-Werbung zurückschreckt kann gerne mal reinschauen.
Überhaupt gibt es natürlich auch einige Anbieter wie z.B MEDIUM, die zunächst kostenlos aber letztlich mit der Idee einen zum Abonnenten zu machen sehr interessante Artikel zum Thema Photographie auf Lager haben. Das ist zwar kein Blog, wenn man aber bestimmte Autoren verfolgt kann es wie ein Blog aussehen oder wie eine lockere Folge von Essays. Hauptsache interessant.
Aber auch die Photoplattformen versuchen ja inzwischen ihr Angebot durch meist nach dem `How to´-Muster gestrickte Blogs zu begleiten. Z.B bei dem von mir nicht mehr so heißgeliebten 500px ist der `Blog´ zwischen `Discover´ und `Upgrade´ in der Kopfzeile prominent platziert. Wer´s gern deutscher möchte wird auf der `photocommunity´–Seite mit der `Fotoschule´ mit vielen Tipps gut bedient. Da baut sich nach und nach eine Wissensdatenbank auf, die zumindest für Amateure hilfreich sein kann.
Ein französischer blog aus der Schweiz bei dem es vorwiegend um Kunst geht ist `Rezo.ch´.
Wenn ich behaupte, dass ich all dies im Detail verfolge würde ich mich an der Wahrheit versündigen aber wenn ich mir Blogs anschaue dann vorwiegend in dieser Auswahl. Das Thema ist endlos und ständig entdecke ich neue Quellen. Wie wär’s, wenn Ihr mir in einem Kommentar eure Lieblingsblogs nennt? Das würde mich sehr freuen.
